"Lighroom ran into a problem with your local catalog and must either quit or restart"

Question

Lightroom 8.5.1Windows 11 Pro, 24H2While deleting a large number of fotos I got the message "Lighroom ran into a problem with your local catalog and must either quit or restart". When restarting I get the same message. By inspecting from another PC I can see that the fotos are actually deleted, and not moved to the Deleted folder. Any workarounds?

We're sorry we missed your post earlier. If you’re still experiencing this issue and are open to troubleshooting, could you please share your system information? You can find it by going to Help > System Info, then copying and pasting it into a text file to attach here. This will help us look into it further.
