Hi!  I have used lightroom for many years.  I recently got a new laptop, a mac and it is completely up to date. macOS sanoma 14.5.  My lightroom 4 is crashing after opening it for a few seconds.  I'm sure I have an outdated app, but my kids lives are on it.  Help!  How do I update the app OR How do I get my photos off of it?

I dont want to lose everything!

 Thank you!

It says, Lightroom quit unexpectedly

Lightroom 4 is a very old version. It was never designed or tested to run on your current OS version. To get your photos off it, either take a subscription to Lightroom Classic, or download a trial version of Lightroom Classic. Open your catalog in Lightroom Classic (it will upgrade it) and export all photos if you do not want to take a subscription.
