Lightroom 6 compared to Elements 2020
Now that I am retired I plan to do a lot more photography. I have just purchased Photoshop Elements 2020. I also have Lightroom 6 which I purchased five years ago but have never used. I shoot RAW with a pair of Nikon D7200s. I shoot mostly people pictures, with family portraits and the occasional wedding. I hope to do more of this.
How much am I missing if I don't learn Lightroom 6? I don't like the idea of a monthly Photoshop subscription charge. But if I am going to learn Lightroom, I also don't want to spend time on Lightroom 6 if it is outdated. Has Lightroom improved dramatically in the past five years?
Also, am I able to use Lightroom presets in Elements 2020?
I have used Nikon's software for all my needs until now, but I am attracted to the organizing ability of Elements 2020 and Lightroom.
