Lightroom 8.1 is not working at all

Hi Adobe team,

My new Lightroom version 8.1 is not working at all. All throuble shooting issues has been tested.

Please assist.

There's not a lot of information here about your system but standard troubleshooting would dictate:

Update your GPU video drivers.

Reset your Preferences
This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.

Hi Rikk,

Thank you for the feedback and process to reset.

All the above was done and still no photo is shown to edit. All previous versions of Lightroom has been installed and tested through the day and the same errors occured. The app was even run as the administrator with no luck including previous Windows.

Go to Help > System Info… and copy the text there and paste it in your reply please.
