Lightroom 8.2 won't import photos

Good morning,

I tried adding a folder of raw files and Lightroom doesn't let me import them because it says they have already been imported. I can't find them anywere in my libraries in Lightroomm and not even if I look for them by date or name. What could be the issue and how could I fix it? Thank you.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

Have you tried selecting 'All Photos' from the left panel and using the search bar at the top of the Lightroom interface to search for images by name? If not, try that approach to see if you can locate the images you're trying to import.

Also, please try updating Lightroom to the latest version (9.0).

I did look for the name of the pictures on th esearch, in all the folders, but couldn't find them. And I've also updated to Lightroom 9 but it doesn't solve the issue, it still says they are already imported.

Thanks for trying that, and I'm sorry that didn't work!

Just to test, can you try moving the images to a different location once and check if you're able to import them from there?
