Lightroom 8.4 deleted files not going to th trash bin

Hello. I am using light room 8.4 with 1 TB cloud storage. I am using MAC OS. Sequia 15.5 I import my photos directly to the cloud storage.  If I delete a photo the trash bin stays empty.  This morning I was deleting a lot of photos and for the first time since I started using it, LR was asking me to confim I wanted to delete the photos and moving them to trash. I just came back to continue the cleanup and now photos are just being removed and  no confirmation message and the trash been file count is not growing.  the total file count does not decrease either.  Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Hi @Clever_Zenith5429, welcome to the community!

When you delete photos in Lightroom, they should move to a section called 'Deleted,' which you can find at the bottom of the left sidebar. Do you see any photos there?

If you’re able to share a quick screen recording of what happens when you delete a photo, that would really help us understand what’s going on.
