Lightroom

I have two PC's in two different places. On my main PC (office) is Lightroom classic. If I install Lightroom for the cloud on both PC's, can I tether shoot to one PC (studio), then download to the other PC?

Here is the dilemna- You can only "tether" a camera to Lightroom-Classic (Lightroom-cloud does not have a tether feature.)

Next you can only 'Sync' ONE LrC Catalog, so tethering to LrC on the (Studio) PC with 'Sync' turned on, means you cannot sync LrC on the (office) PC.

If you were to use an independent 'third-party' app to tether to the (studio) PC (or- tether to LrC that is NOT synced) and then 'manually' Add/Import these files to Lightroom-cloudy, your photos would then sync down to Lr-Classic on the (office) system.

Clear as mud?

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

Thanks for your response! You did explain it very clearly. I think I'll add
an external drive to the studio pc as a new catalog then take it to the
office pc.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
