Lightroom adds 'write protection' to images

I'm having an issue with Lightroom, it adds 'write protection' to my images when exporting them so afterwards I can not open my own images! It never used to do this, does anyone know how to stop it from doing this?

Where do you export the images to, and what OS and Lightroom version are you using? Most likely this is not a Lightroom issue, but a drive or folder issue.
