Lightroom Android v4.4 not exporting edits

Hello,

I've just updated to the new version 4.4. 

I've edited my photos on an iPad last night, and now I'm trying to downloaded the edited photos on my android mobile. When I click "Export to device" it only downloads the original and not the edit. I've even tried selecting both the "highest quality available" and "limit to 2048px".  I then tried "sharing" the photo then selecting "upload to Google photos". With the same effect. I've also even tried sharing directly to Instagram or sending to a friend.  Only the original is exported and not the displayed edited.

Adobe app says everything is synced and backed up.

Has the new update changed how to export the edit? Or is it a glitch..? Please help.
