Question

Lightroom app does not see the upgraded cloud storage space

Hi,

I have updated Adobe cloud storage space from 100 gigabytes to 1,000 gigabytes. This upgrade can be clearly seen in my account and Creative Cloud App for iPhone or iPad. When I launxh Lightroom App on my iPhone or iPad, it still shows 100 gigabytes as the limit and therefore does not sync new photos across devices because the limit has been exhausted.

I have tried signing out and back in again which did not fix the issue.

Please help me understand what to do in this situation.

Thank you.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. From where did you purchase the upgrade? Which version of the application are you using? How much space is Lightroom showing?

In a web browser, sign into your account at https://lightroom.adobe.com/

Do you see a group of photos in the left panel identified as sync issues? If you are able to resolve these (figure out which device needs to finish syncing the photos or just delete the photos if they can be uploaded again), does this unblock sync for you?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Regards,

Ranjisha

Hi Ranjisha,

My iPhone and iPad Lightroom apps are both version 8.1.0 BA494D/17. Neither one sees the upgraded cloud storage.

To upgrade the cloud storage, I called the Adobe Customer Service and they sent me a quote with an electronic invoice that I used to make the payment.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Sincerely,

Stan

Sorry you are running into trouble here.  Everything currently looks correct here on the server though I think there may have been some initial delay.  If you are still not seeing the correct quota, try logging out and logging in again.
