I got a new phone recently and updated my iOS and apps. I opened the LR app and it has been saying "Updating... Lightroom needs to do some housekeeping. Migrating thumbnails. This may take a moment." for 2 days now. I maybe had 100 thumbnails in the app previously. Any idea why this is happening or how to get it to unstick itself?

What version of iOS are you currently working on?
Try this in the settings of your iPhone.
If this does not help, log on to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) & ensure everything is synced to the cloud.
Once sure, you can try to re-install Lightroom mobile again. Let me know how it goes.
