Lightroom CC Color picker

I've been watching countless editing tutorials on YouTube, and unfortunately the majority use the Classic version of Lightroom...

I noticed a really cool feature where you could use a dropper while choosing a color (split-toning for example) and drag the dropper off of the Lightroom window to grab a color from any other image on your screen.  

Does anybody know of a way to do this, or something similar in Lightroom CC?  How about saving a color scheme?  I feel so limited with the supposedly newer/better version of Lightroom!
