Lightroom CC Migration - Zero-Byte Originals in Local Storage

Hi,

I migrated my Lightroom Classic catalog to Lightroom CC a couple of weeks ago. My catalog is around 55.000 images and videos with around 700 Gb. All originals were stored in NAS and selected another share of the same NAS as new location for Lightroom CC originals. After some problems (LR got stuck once or twice), LR CC indicated that the migration was successful.

However, at some point, I got a message that LR CC was unable to move around 30.000+ originals because the new share was not available (even though it was). LR CC shows that I have the same 55.000 images that I would expect to find, but: (1) many pictures are not appearing, (2) the folder structure in the new location for the originals seemed ok, but I noticed that many files had zero bytes. Such images were not showing in the Lightroom CC window; (3) in the web app, total image count is the expected 55.000, but only around 10K are synced and the remaining images are reported as with sync issues.

Every time I open LR CC it attempts to move such images, with no success.

At this point, I am not sure if (a) I should just wait and see if everything syncs or (b) this migration has failed and I should just start over. Any ideas?

Thank you!
