After installing Lightroom CC, I got the error of "Lightroom CC's connection to the internet is disabled in your country.

Why do I get this error?

You need to contact Adobe to change the associated country: Change the country associated with your Adobe ID

Apparently: https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/products/creativecloud/cc/pdfs/cc-availability-matrix.pdf CC is not available in China but should work in Hong Kong. Perhaps your CC account ID is associated with China instead of HK?

I could not find how to check the country. Only able to find the way to change the country, but it is very stupid.

I have the change my Adobe ID to free my existing ID first and then apply a new account with my old ID. So it effectively is to create a new account but with same login ID, not changing the country of existing account.

Eventually, I log out (also took a long time to find out the button) and then log in with my another Adobe ID. It works now.
