Lightroom CC Syncing Error - No Pics on Desktop, Pics on Mobile
Let me start this off by saying this is not an issue related to syncing libraries between classic and CC.
A few months ago, I hit the cap on my cloud storage, so I opted to update to the next tier. I did this out of some degree of panic after opening my Lightroom following a few weeks time and found that almost all of my pictures were no longer present in the Lightroom CC application. The only visible pictures were a spread from a year or two ago when I was messing around with a new camera - more recent, edited pictures (including ones that were sorted, flagged, rated, etc.), were nowhere to be found. Truly, it was as though they'd vanished into thin air.
After updating my cloud storage (hoping everything would return to normal), I saw that the photos returned to my Android Lightroom application and are able to be edited and viewed without issue. I have a Google Pixl 2 XL, for the record. My problem is this: it now seems like I have two completely disassociated libraries / applications. Each program displays the correct login information. My phone has my original library of photos, plus newer ones I added from my phone's camera library to Lightroom for editing. After deleting the leftover pictures from the desktop version, my Lightroom CC program on my laptop displays nothing. My sync is turned on in both desktop and mobile, and both programs are displaying no errors and "synced and backed up". Currently, my mobile folder has 2754 items; my desktop has zero.
Look, I love the mobile program, but it's difficult to make legitimate edits using this version alone. Everything is up-to-date, my desktop version is 2.2.1. Please, someone tell me what's going on - it's driving me crazy that I can't get these pictures back on my laptop.
Thanks,
Mike.
