Lightroom Classic migration to Lightroom desktop

I am switching to Lightroom Classic to Lightroom Cloud. When I upgrade my plan to the Cloud, will Classic disappear along with my photos, or will they stay intact until I migrate them to LR Cloud?

Hi there,

When you will install Lightroom desktop, Lightroom Classic will not be affected by any way as it is an independent application. Lightroom desktop will prompt you to start syncing images from Lightroom Classic to the cloud.
