Lightroom Cloud and mobile edits not syncing all photos back to lightroom classic desktop

I have been having issues off and on for a long time now with syncing edits i make in lightroom mobile on my ipad pro back to my light room classic desktop catalog on my macbook pro. Everything is fully up to date:

MacOS: 13.2.1

Lightroom Classic: 12.2

Camera Raw: 15.2

Ipad IOS: 16.3.1

iPad Pro 11 inch

Lightroom cloud: 6.2

Lighroom Mobile: 8.2.1

I have resolved some of the issues after going through the community posts for this and found at one point i had one photo in a different collection that was having a sync issue and held everything up. I unsynced that collection and still had it showing up as error, then I deleted the collection and it was still showing as an issue, finally I exported the photos as their own catalog and deleted them from lightroom afterwards and the rest of my photos synced properly. i have a total of 33,075 synced photos and they do show up on my devices however after editing about 500 photos yesterday on my ipad and I left llightroom classic open overnight to sync everything. This morning I checked and I didn't see any edits. I found another article saying to go from the Develop module to the Library module in Grid view and i did see the sync process start. However, only about 5 photos synced and then the process said it was finished without errors.

I have thought about just switching to the lighrooom cloud plan and ditching lightroom classic but that will cost me more money and/ or the conveince of accessing all of my photos i have stored on my PC. Is there a way to force a sync to run in lightroom classic or a way for me to find what is wrong so i can fix it?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
