Question

Lightroom Cloud Based cannot export multiple images to photoshop

I'm attempting to create a focus stacked image from several photos that I took. I've brought the images into lightroom and made my adjustments, but I can't seem to select all of the images and edit them in photoshop as layers as the edit in menu is grayed out when I attempt to export multiple images (this happens with both RAW and JPEG images). Does anyone know of any work around besides having both clasic and cloud installed on my computer?

Replication steps:
1) load images into lightroom
2) Select mulitple images from my album

Expected Behavior
- Edit In Photoshop menu should be able to be selected and I can choose to open the images as layers in photoshop

Current Behavior
- Edit In menu option is grayed out and I cannot export my images as layers in photoshop. This feature works in Lightroom Classi, but not on the cloud verion.

This is as designed. Lightroom desktop can only send one image to Photoshop at a time at this moment. Sending multiple images at once, as separate files or as layers, is only supported in Lightroom Classic. Of course you can send the images one by one, and then in Photoshop load them as layers.

Yeah, that's the workflow hack I am using. Working as designed is product management speak for "ohhhh, we overlooked that use case" or "The development team said it was too hard and we'll wait to see if people complain about this lack of functionality".
