Lightroom copies settings but not profile

I've just switched to Lightroom from Lightroom Classic on my macbook and I'm having an issue copying profiles to multiple images. When I paste settings to an individual image, the profile copies over, but when selecting multiple images, the settings paste successfully but the profile defaults to 'Adobe Standard'. How do I solve this?

I've done some troubleshooting and it appears that this issue only happens when pasting settings onto images that have missing pre-applied profiles. As mentioned I migrated from Lightroom Classic but I also replaced my VSCO profiles with equivalent RNI profiles, so these VSCO profiles no longer exist in my Lightroom client. As a workaround I can set placeholder Adobe profiles that can be copied over with my adjusted settings.

To answer your question above, these are all raw ARW files.

I am not able to duplicate what you are seeing.  Can you verify a couple of items for me?

1. Are all of the files to which you are pasting raw files?

2. Are you checking Profile in the "Choose Edit Settings to Copy…
"  option?
