Lightroom crash when I plug my Iphone to the computer

Hi, 

I never had a problem with lightroom, but suddenly, since 2 days ago, it started crashing. So I unplugged my external drive and Iphone from the computer and now it works normally.

When I plug them again, it won't even start....what's going on??? please help!!!

Same thing just happened to me...LR would crash when I plugged in my iPhone to charge it (MacPro 2010, 10.13.6).

I went to LR prefs -> General and unchecked Import Options/Show import dialog when memory card inserted. Seems to be working. Hope this helps.
