Lightroom Crash when importing

Hi, 

 

Can someone please help me . All of a sudden everytime I go to import new files into my lightroom catalogue it's saying there are no photos that exist then the programme will crash and it will appear as a reported problem. 

I use Lightroom Classic 5 version 5.7.1 

 

has this happened to anyone else or can anyone else help me ?
