Lightroom crashing on ipad

Since the most recent update, my Lightroom is crashing when I'm trying to edit photos with AI generated subject and background selection. When I try to do brushwork , I go to the next photo and it crashes and doesn't save edit. I've tried all the usual stuff, redownload app, reset iPad twice actually and didn't make a difference. No other apps on my iPad right now besides Lightroom and it still isn't working right.

    I am not using AI generated images and this happens to me as well. I am just editing RAW files straight from my camera, and 95% of the time when doing background masking it crashes. I never had this issue prior to them adding the lens blur feature, so whichever version was previous to that was fine. This has become extremely annoying and I too am looking for a fix. I am on an iPad Pro 12.9" 2021 M1 (5th Gen) with 1 TB storage and 16 GB physical RAM on iOS 17.2 and the current version of Lightroom for iPad as of Jan 24, 2024.

    I have exactly the same problem of crashes. I am using ipad pro 512gb and I thought going for 1 tb and 16 mb might solve thecissue but your post shows it is not.

    I upgraded to a new ipad with 1tb of space and no issues since

    p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
