Lightroom Desktop extremely slow, not working properly

Hi, Lightroom stopped working properly since this morning (it's now 7 pm). 

I managed to edit a picture this morning, but I can't upload it to the Discovery feed - it claims that the edit is still processing and it might take a few minutes (since this morning). I also haven't been able - since this morning  - to keep editing my pictures...it gets stuck on the presets and I can't do anything. It's a lso extremely slow.

The only thing I can do without issues is remixing other photographers images and sharing them both on my profile and on discovery - but anything related to my work is absolutely stuck. 

Until yesterday everything worked perfectly.

I do own a PC with Windows 11and I have Lightroom version: 6.3.1 x64
