Lightroom Downloader app for Windows 10 stops at 40%

Does anyone still try to use the Lightroom Downloader app for Windows 10?

I bought a large capacity SSD drive to back up my files for "just-in-case-my-computer-dies" or if I'm cyberhacked. The Lightroom Downloader app worked great at first, but unexpectedly stopped at "40%," even though I had a huge amount of space left on the SSD drive. Should I even bother trying to back up Lightroom photos because if my computer died I could perhaps reinstall all my photos and edits from Lightroom onto a new computer?

I use Lr, which I think is the cloud-based system... Thanks for anyone's recommendations!

I searched on the internet and found both of your comments here in this topic. I have the same problem. Stuck on 39%... downloaded the program again but the same result. I have a HP elite book i5 with window 11. Have you if anyone already found a solution yet?

Sorry, I haven’t. I figured that I’d try to figure out backing up to a hard disk sometime, maybe just a folder at a time.

Hi Bob, thanx for replying. I can't backing up one folder a the time. My old account doesn't function anymore because the enterprise i work for had a huge migration to another platform. Adobe promised that all data should over to a new account. But suprise suprise......😵‍💫 unfortunately that didn't work. So a guy from our ICT helpdesk let me in my old account for only two days. So i can back up all of my 60GB data. But now it's running stuck..... don't know how i can download it now. One day left.....🥺

I have the same problems, my stopping point was at 14%, probably because I have more files. This is with Windows 11 23H2 for x64, 16GB ram, dell XPS plus , 2TB external NVME Disk.

There are four bars with the current files being download, which freeze over time, until it all stops֫

Very hard to know what is happening as it is like a black box.
