Lightroom Downloader Question

Yesterday I used lightroom downloader for the first time and it mostly worked great and gave me a bunch of folders with the original photo and the edited photo as I wanted. However, one specific folde4r gave me the orignal photo and an xmp file for each photo. Is there anyway to get the edited photos that should be in that folder? Thanks

The Downloader app supplies the [Original camera file] +  [XMP file] that contains the editing data. To see the edits you would need to view the images in an Adobe app (Bridge, ACR, Lightroom, Lightroom-classic).

If you want images that have the edits 'burnt in' (or rendered as you edited them) you would need to Export them from Lightroom as JPG or TIF.
