Lightroom edits not syncing correctly to other images

I just updated my Lightroom classic and now all my presets seem different. When I attempt to sync the same edits on several photos, it's all off and the syncing is not the same. What the heck is going on? I really need to be able to sync to edit weddings in a reasonable amount of time. Please help ASAP!
