Lightroom Erase Tool

The healing brush in lightroom is absolute TRASH. I'll erase a smudge off of a white surface and it'll throw in a random shade of hot pink ( which is nowhere in exposure ) or someones skin tone. Isnt the tool Ai powered? I spend half my edit time just running around in circles trying to get the correct heal. On top of this, the tool likes to shrink in size as I use it. I'll start with the brush size set to ten and after a couple of clicks its a tiny little 2. What's that about? 

Anyways my gig is paid hourly at the moment so the hours spent restling this poorly designed tool to do simple cleaning up is money in my pocket I guess BUT ADOBE PLEASE DO BETTER
