Question

Lightroom failing to release cloud storage space

I am using Lightroom Classic 13.0 and Lightroom 7.0, most recent build.  I have long suspected that Lightroom's accounting of cloud storage in my account is off.  So, I have deleted the files in  "All Photos" in the Cloud portion of Lightroom after making sure they were already on my desktop in my Lightroom Classic catalog.  After giving the systems time to sync properly, I see that Cloud storage still seems to think I am using 10.1 GB of storage with 0 photos in 0 albums.  What's going on?  I can't imagine what else I might need to do to convince Cloud Storage that there is nothing there.

Thanks,

-Jack

Did you empty the cloud trash? Removed files are kept in a temporary storage for a while (I think one month), in case you change your mind.

Thanks for the reply, Johan.  Yes, I have attempted to do that, but the files there seem to remain even after confirmation of their permanent deletion(!), with their days-to-permenent-removal counting down.  I don't think that is contributing to the problem in any case, because my experience has been that when files are sent to the Deleted bucket they immediately free up cloud storage.
