so i just found out how to fix it. its very simple, but you will (probably) lose all youre data.

you have to delete lightroom and some data in youre windows explorer:

1.      deinstall Lightroom

2.      go to the explorer and search " C:\Users\*insert user name*\AppData\Local\Adobe "

3.      delete the folder called "Lightroom CC"

4.      install lightroom once again

5.      finished -it should work.

if you still got a lot of important photos in lightroom i would rather

1.      deinstall Lightroom

2.      go to the explorer and search " C:\Users\*insert user name*\AppData\Local\Adobe "

3.      go to the subfolders and

4.       copy the "data" folder somewhere where you will find it later.

5.       now you delete the "Lightroom CC" folder,

6.       reinstall lightroom

7.       and delete the new "data" folder and

8.       replace it with the one you copied.

now it should work like expected. if not, try method one

good luck

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the import error in Lightroom, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're using?

Also, what operating system are you working on?

Could you please have a look at a similar conversation here and check the correct answer, then let us know if it helps?

Regards,
Sahil
