Lightroom file handling

Hello everyone. I.

I need some advice. My pc is full. Can’t download any more shots. So what I’m doing is copying 2023 folder ( 301gb) to an external hard drive and online drive.

I’m then going to delete that folder off pc. My Lightroom catalog is running from its external hard drive - set up by Adobe.

If I delete the 2023 folder from pc, will I lose the images in Lightroom?
