Lightroom Freezing / Black-screen

I have been using lightroom for a few months with no issue, recently an issue began usually when zooming or panning an image where the screen freezes and goes black for a couple seconds (only the monitor currently displaying lightroom has this issue, my other monitor stays on). This does not happen every time but enough that I would consider it unusable. I contacted support but they deemed it was due to the masking in my photos and essentially told me to avoid using masks. The issue persists even when editing RAW images that have no masks applied yet so I do not see how this could be the case.

I am running windows 11 on a high-end desktop pc with an RTX 4090 + 32GB RAM and have had no issues in other graphic design/ photo-editing apps. My graphics drivers are updated and I performed a clean installation when the issue began, not sure what option I have other than cancelling my subscription but I would like to continue using lightroom if only it functioned.
