Lightroom Freezing on Masking function since 2 days and then its interface is fading completely.

This computer have 12 GB RAM, 2 GB Nvidia 710 and i3- 3.60 G Hz,  runs on SSD and really Good internet. 

 

i've been using lightroom on it since a month, i never faced such issue, yet it was a bit slow, used to stuck for a second  but now its freezing completely even on low sized JPGs . - rest of softwares are working fine.

 

please help

 

i cleared its cache memory within the app

cleared computer cache - disk cleanup

checked for updates - already up to date

 

please....

Hey, @Imaging Reflax. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll clarify this for you. 

 

Your machine's Graphics processor (GT710, released 2014) barely meets the minimum system requirements to install and run Lightroom. As per the system info you attached, GPU-accelerated features will be difficult to use.

If Lens Blur, Denoise & detailed masking is a significant part of your workflow, a modern discrete GPU is recommended.

Hey, have you tried using a new GPU ? I have exactly the same problem and I have a one year old 7800XT which definitely meets the hardware requirements. Thanks
