Lightroom frisst RAM

Question

Hallo Ihr Lieben,
ich habe einen neuen Laptop. HP Envy Windows / 32GB RAM / 2 TB Speicher / Nividia GEFORCE RTX 4GB.

Jedes Mal wenn ich Lightroom öffne frisst LR bereits mehr als 16 GB RAM. Sobald ich damit arbeite springt es auf 22-26 GB hoch. Auch läuft es nicht so flüssig wie ich es mir erhofft habe.

Vorher hatte ich einen Acer Aspire 3 mit 16GB und 512 GB Speicher mit AMD Radeon. Da lief es teils genauso schnell wie jetzt. Speicher in LR läuft über die Cloud.

Habe schon die Einstellungen angepasst. Trotzdem läuft RAM voll sobald ich LR nutze.

Woran kann das liegen. Es ist schon ein wenig deprimierend einen neuen - teuren Laptop zu kaufen und bei dem alten 300,- Euro Laptop läuft es teils genauso schnell 😕😕

Treiber etc sind schon alle aktualisiert.

Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar.

Hey, @Equixie-Photographie. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Have you recently updated the OS? If you're on Lightroom, is Sync enabled? Where do you keep your Lightroom catalog & the original images, internal, or external drive?

As primary steps, try this:

Unplug any external media devices like Cameras & mobile devices.
Unplug additional displays & use only one by default.
Monitor the Task Manager for any unexpected read-and-write operations.
