Lightroom giving catalog error message on startup

Every time I try to launch lightroom 7.4.1 on windows 11 on my windows desktop, I receive two erros messages. One says there is some kind of catalog error and the other says something about initializing an organization module. after the error messages, the app is technically open but just has a blank grey screen.

This problem is not occuring for any other app, and is also not occuring on my macbook.
