Lightroom installs in German although my OS and all apps are in Eng

I have my OS in English US, all my apps in English US including Adobe Creative Cloud.

However when I install Adobe Lightroom out of  Creative Cloud it gets installed in German.

WFT? To make thigs worse there seems to be no way to change it to English.

How can I get the software to show an English UI?

Hi @defaultbzhencqcbvnz, That sounds super frustrating! Let's see if we can troubleshoot this issue. If you haven't already tried some of these, here are some steps you can follow to help change the language to English:

1. Change Language in Preferences: Open Lightroom. Go to Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Lightroom > Preferences (Mac OS). In the General tab, choose English from the Language pop-up menu. Close Preferences and restart Lightroom. The new language should take effect the next time you start Lightroom.

2. Check System Locale: Go to Control Panel. Click on Clock, Language, and Region. Click on Region and Language. Go to the Administrative tab. Click on Change system locale… and ensure it is set to English (United States).

3. Change Language in Creative Cloud: Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. Click on the gear icon on the top right and select Preferences. Go to the Apps tab. Under App Language, select English (United States). Reinstall Lightroom from the Creative Cloud app.

4. Reinstall Lightroom: Uninstall Lightroom from your system. As mentioned above, ensure that the Creative Cloud app language is set to English (United States). Reinstall Lightroom from the Creative Cloud app.

If none of these steps help, can you share your system info with us? You can find this by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here. Thanks! ^CH

Thank you. Your instructions helped. Although I had to first find my way in the German menu bar.

It just shouldn't happen in the first place imo.

As mentioned before only Lightroom diverted, Adobe Cloud and Photoshop just installed fine in English
