Lightroom iPad crash sd card import

I have iPad 1TB with more than 700 free. Lightroom crashes while building previews for the import process. I have tried restarting the app, using a differenct card reader and restarting the iPad. There are no messages. It just closes the app. Previously it would just disconnect the reader and start over. I used the Photos app and it worked fine and imported everything into the photos. Then I imported into Lightroom without issue. But I cannot directly import to Lightroom from the SD card.

    I was just about to post exactly the same, same set-up same issur, i tried even on two card readers (CF-USBC)
