Question

Lightroom is stuck syncing 1,500 RAW files for over 16 hours. The files are not editable, and the app is unresponsive. How can I pause the sync or prioritize local editing?

"Hi everyone, I’m new to Lightroom. I recently imported about 1,500 CR2 (RAW) images, and it’s been over 16 hours, but the app seems stuck. None of the images are editable, and they all show a blue 'syncing' icon (as seen in the screenshot attached). My internet connection is fine. Is this normal? How can I stop the syncing or prioritize a few images so I can start editing?

Hey, @הדסה אסתר2521956022ct. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. I'll help you figure this out. What version of Lightroom & the operating system are you working on?

Log in to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3uv2zCA) and check which images have synced so far. If you're on Lightroom desktop:

    • Click the filter icon at the top and select Sync Status > Syncing.

    • Lightroom will now display images that are currently syncing.

    • Select all the images and do one of the following:

    • Delete the selected images and re-import them into Lightroom.

    • Apply a flag or star rating to the selected images.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
    Thanks!
