Question

Lightroom local storage on Ipad

I travel a lot and want to use my iPad to edit images in Lightroom. But I do not EVER want to use the CLOUD. The bandwidth Adobe cloud uses is MONSTOROUS. It crashes my desktop. So I never want to use the cloud. EVER. Hope that is clear. I HATE ADOBE CLOUD.

Having said that, can I still use my ipad? Can I keep my photos on an external drive, connect it to my ipad and use LR on my iPad?

If not, any recommendation on a different photoediting software that will allow this?

The fact that adobe only until recently forced all of us to use their crappy cloud is insulting. but atleast they finally let us use are own harddrives (I am sure reluctantly while kicking and screaming). It really makes me questions the values of this company. It is obviously about money. Sad.

Anyway, hoping I can use ipad with local storage and NOT the cloud.

No. If you do not ever want to use the Adobe cloud, then try to find another solution for your iPad.
