Lightroom loses photos...

Hello

Adobe Lightroom has done this to me several times.

It loses my photos and asks me to import it again.

But this is a photo that is several years old.

It's lightroom that manages the automatic raw, I'm not going to keep the RAW once in lighroom and once in another file, it takes too much space.

Why this software does not leave Raw management to the user like on luminar, if he is not able to do it correctly without losing photos

I'll help you figure this out. I'll need more info.

What version of Lightroom are you currently working on? Please go to Edit > Preferences

In Adobe Lightroom, please share the screenshot of the following options from Preferences.

Lightroom stores full-size RAW images on the cloud & clears local storage space once the images are uploaded to the cloud. You can log on to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) to find all your raw originals that successfully synced to the cloud.

Thanks!

Thank you indeed this option is cool!

The adobe suite is already very expensive. and I don't want to pay even more for storage space (which has been full for years, but I never use it!
I just want to have my raw on my computer.

I have 17,000 photos, or about 500 to 600 GB.

I am on version 6.1

This option if it works well for me, thank you.
