Lightroom • Loss of photos

Hello all,

I have lost a fairly important amount of pictures on my lightroom app (iOs) since I used lightroom cc online (being away I had to consult it from another computer).

Has this already happened to any of you and is there a way to fix it ? At least 10 000 pictures disappeared and I'm nicely freaking out.

If you have access to Lightroom Desktop, I recommend signing into your personal profile there, so the desktop app can sync down all the images from cloud storage (to be a local backup of images that are in the cloud).

Another option to download images from the cloud to your computer, so you can make a separate backup -- try the Lightroom Downloader app: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/download-lightroom-photos.html

I see your one Adobe ID email address has both a personal and also an organizational profile. Please try signing out, and then when you sign back in choose the personal profile. I see an active subscription with many GBs of data under your personal profile.

Thanks Charlie. Sorry for the delayed answer.

Indeed my account was first created within my previous work company licence and when I left, tried with one of your colleague to transfer that orgazine account to a personal profile (to not lose all of my work).

Would you advise me to sign out on my mobile, computer or both ?

Does this happen with images from a specific time period, or within a set of albums?

It alll came back ... then disappeared again. Seems to be more from a specific period of time.

For example right now I have 0 photos from May 2025. My library goes straight from June to April. March is also completely missing.

Also every appearing month is missing photograph (having 11 pictures in April is definitely not right).

I'm a photographer, participating in exhibitions and open calls and not able to, because I've "lost" my picture to export them as requested.

I'm desperate I must admit.
