Lightroom Mobile and RAW files on external SSD, only sync edits and not RAW files to cloud.

Will it ever be possible to import files from an external storage to Lightroom Mobile and only sync the adjustments to the cloud, without uploading the original RAW files?

 

I want to connect the files from my external storage later directly in Lightroom Classic. The upload of a large files and numbers can take for ever, with hotel Wifi. 😉

"Will it ever..? "  Not possible to know what Adobe are planning.

If you had Lightroom-Classic available (travel laptop?), you would not need WiFi at all-  Just Import photos to the 'remote' laptop catalog, and Import the 'remote' Catalog to your Home Master Catalog when you are home.
