I'll help you with this.

In the Lightroom Mobile's (andoird) in-app camera > Click on 3 dots > Go to Settings (gear icon) > Volume Keys Function.

You can change the behavior of volume keys to Capture, Exposure Compensation, Zoom & None. On Lightroom mobile (iOS) volume button acts as a caputre button & if held down, shoots in burst mode.

Thanks!

I have it set to Exposure Compensation, but I tried the other settings and none allow a shutter click.

Just to make this clear, I am not referring to the camera that is supplied with the Samsung phone. That one produces a normal shutter click. The problem is only with the LR Mobile camera where I can't seem to get a click.

I don't know if it's the same on Android phones, but on my iPhone there is a shutter-click....but the noise is governed by the phone's volume setting, i.e. if the phone is in silent mode or the volume is turned down really low, you won't hear the shutter-click.

Does this mean that Android does not have the shutter click? I certainly
can't produce it.

I don't have an Android phone, so I really can't say. I expect an existing Android user will respond in due course.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but all I see in the reply is "following". What does that mean?
