Lightroom Mobile app crashes while creating presets in normal and flight mode

My Lightroom mobile app on Oppo phone crashes whenever I click on the tick mark or creating a new preset. The app resets, and the preset is not saved. Tried restarting the mobile, clearing cache, not allowing the OS to disturb the app for any battery optimization purposes, but it's still the same. Also tried in flight mode, normal mode, with wifi on and off, GPS on and off, nothing worked. 

There were previous posts about it quite some time ago, but nothing has improved ever since.
