Question

Lightroom mobile "couldn't complete export"

I've been using LR mobile on my phone flawlessly for months, even exporting hundreds of photos at once for a certain job. Yesterday during a wedding I was editing and exporting single photos normally with no issues. Suddenly "1 photo failed to export". Retry option gives an instant same error. This is happening on my phone, Xiaomi Note 9 Pro, wich hasn't exported a single photo since then. Tested on a tablet minutes ago and apparently no issues. On my phone I've already tried the following:

- cleaning the app cache

- cleaning the phone general cache

- restarting the phone

- cleaning all app data, forcing a new login

- reinstalling the app completely

- reimporting a photo I'm trying to export

- shamefully tried to export at a lower output size as shown on some poor YouTube videos suggest

Nothing worked. I repeated those steps dozens of times using different combinations. There was no app version or phone OS changes since the error appeared while I was using LR and that changes can't happen meanwhile. I use LR mobile for work so I really hope to solve this.

after a year, still having the same problem... after some updates, I could export the photo that had "bugged" export and originated this post. Today, however, it happened again with another photo.. and sadly no answer from adobe. I could successfully export the photo 3 times. after some more adjustments, It keeps failing export for good

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

Please let us know the version of Lightroom you're using and the version of Android your device is running. Are you experiencing this same behavior on all images or just the RAF files?

Have you tried restarting the app and the device to check if that makes a difference?

Thanks,
Nikunj
