Lightroom Mobile photos gone after upgrade

I just upgraded Lightroom on iPhone to a paid subscription. My original photos from the free version are now gone. I wasn't expecting this to happen as I was just upgraded to a paid version.

If you have never uninstalled the Lightroom app, this page deascribe how it may be possible to recover original images: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/lightroom-classic/kb/recover-lightroom-mobile-photos-itunes-file-sharing.html

 

If you had deleted the app, is it possible you can restore a device backup using iTunes or iCloud from a time when Lightroom still showed those photos?  If so, visit the same page above to get a backup of your images off your device.
