Lightroom Mobile Segmentation not working?

Hi all, 

I'm running the latest Lightroom Mobile app (v 8.5.0 D352DE/107) and I like my photos to be sorted by capture date and to be segmentated.
However, everytime I close and open the app, it's sorted by modified date and segmented by day, which is very annoying.

Any one else have this issue? Please help and advise! TIA.
