Lightroom Mobile sync to Lightroom Classic "_jpg.heic"

When looking at my iPhone photos that were synced to the Cloud then to Lightroom Classic, I see some files are named IMG1234_jpg.heic. What does this mean, are they JPEG files or HEIC files"
