LIghtroom mobile (v8.4.1) crashes at launch in Android phone

LR mobile doesn't open in my Android phone. It crashes when I try to open it. The version is 8.4.1. It says this is a bug and suggests me try updating the software when the developer finds a solution. It's been 4 days since I noted this issue.

Hey, @XSI5. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. What version of the Android OS are you working on?

 

Have you installed Lightroom from the Samsung Galaxy store or Google Play Store? Before troubleshooting, log in to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) to ensure your work is backed up & synced to the cloud.

 

  • Try installing Lightroom from Google Play Store & Samsung Galaxy Store to check if installation from both stores results in a crash.
  • Try keeping the device in Flight Mode & without internet when you launch Lightroom.

    Hi Sameer,
    Thanks for your gesture. I have uninstalled LR Mobile and reinstalled it. Now everything is working fine. Some works were lost but still I managed to pull off. 😊
