Lightroom not finding photos for import

Hi there,

I've used Lightroom for years, but suddenly my package isn't 'finding' any of my photos when I try and import! I'm running MacOS Catalina and have Lightroom CC. I click Import photos and point to the drive/folder (containing a mix of Canon raw and jpeg images) but lightroom finds nothing! What can have changed?!
