Lightroom not opening and crashes while editing

Question

My lightroom all of a sudden will NOT open. It opens the splash screen then crashes, it wont load at all. I was in middle of editing a session yesterday then it crashed. I have re installed, upgraded it and my Mac, I have signed in and out, I have no idea what to do! 
 
Any tips?

Hi there,

Sorry that Lightroom app is not opening as it crashes right after the splash screen shows up. Which version of Lightroom and the Mac OS version are you're working with? You can check that by going to Help > System Info.

Also, have you tried signing out of the Lightroom app from Help> Sign out menu and then restarted the app to see if that helps?
